Management department poster
For this assignment, I was asked to design a poster that introducing the majors and minors of management department of Lehigh University. The text of the poster was given; however, I was required to stylize it. The design process included numerous rounds of refinement where we were able to change our designs based on peer feedback during group discussion. I first found a picture of the business center of the university on the school website. After the group discussion, I decided to remove it since it was too busy there. Also, I was using brown, which was the representational color of the school, as the main color on my first draft. After showing to the professor, she suggested for me to change the color. I decided to use green since it represents money and the poster has an average salary amount on it. I manipulate the opacity and thickness of the green of each element on the poster, so each of it has its job and is legible. The salary amount was the most important information, so it dominates the biggest space on the poster.
